Dr Norizan Binti Rajak, Ph.D
Clinical Linguist
​
Dr Norizan Rajak is a clinical linguist who was based in University of Hawaii in Honolulu, Hawaii and was working with a community center with at-risk children and immigrants. She came back to her hometown Malaysia as a linguistics lecturer in Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) until she decided to create the first private multidisciplinary Intervention center in 2005.
Clinical Linguistics is the application of linguistic theories, concepts and methods to the study of language acquisition and disorders. Language disorders can be resulted from the breakdown of one or more language components such as prosody, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics and discourse.
She also received training at Syracuse University in New York in the areas of language learning and teaching pedagogy for typical and atypical population. She conducts learning assessments and provide interventions for children with learning difficulties and advice for educational placements of children for over 20 years.
Mrs. Lauren Reyes-Yu, M.A. CCC
Speech Therapist

Mrs Lauren Reyes-Yu is a speech therapist who earned her B.A. in Speech and Hearing Science (2013) and her M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology (2015) from The Ohio State University in the United States. During graduate school, her research focused on the development of phonological awareness skills in bilingual Spanish-English speaking preschool students. After completing her education, she worked in American public schools with students with a variety of communication disorders. She is a member of American Speech & Hearing Association.
One of her professional passions includes working with students requiring the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) technology. She has helped students utilize picture exchange communication systems (PECS), communication devices, American Sign Language, and various apps to communicate. She also enjoys educating families about AAC communication and working with them to find the best communication method for their children.
Dr Sindhu Nair, Ph.D
Clinical Psychologist

Dr Sindhu Nair is a clinical psychologist who has experience providing psychometric assessments and psychological interventions to children, adolescents and adults with developmental and psychological disorders. She completed her undergraduate degree in Sunway University, her Masters in Clinical Psychology in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), and her PhD in Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

Sindhu is a member of the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (MSCP) and a committee member of the Malaysian Society of Music and Medicine (MSMM).
She has a passion for dance and music. Having completed her ABRSM Piano Grade 8, being a certified drum circle facilitator, and currently learning Carnatic music and picking up the skills needed to play the djembe; she aspires to merge her passion and profession by helping people through the power of music.
Mrs Norizzati Afiqah
Head of Occupational Therapy Department

Norizzati Afiqah is the Head Occupational Therapist who has worked passionately with children for the past 6 years. She is experienced in conducting assessments and occupational interventions to children and adolescents with developmental delays to aid their cognitive, physical, motor development. She completed her bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) based in Puncak Alam.
She is also a member of the Malaysian Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA).
